Whole-Child Transplantation: Multidisciplinary Care in Pediatric Transplantation

It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us for the 14th Congress of the International Pediatric Transplant Association (IPTA) in Charleston, South Carolina. As IPTA rotates its Congress across global regions, the 2027 meeting offers an important opportunity to bring our international community together in the United States while maintaining the truly global spirit that defines our organization.

IPTA is a vibrant and collaborative network of more than 750 members representing over 60 countries. Our Congress serves as a unique forum where pediatric transplant physicians, surgeons, immunologists, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, trainees, and allied health professionals from around the world come together to exchange knowledge, share diverse perspectives, and build lasting professional relationships.

The 2027 scientific program will span all aspects of pediatric transplantation across organs and disciplines, guided by the theme: “Whole-Child Transplantation: Multidisciplinary Care in Pediatric Transplantation.”

Through state-of-the-art plenary lectures, interactive workshops, oral and poster presentations, and dedicated networking opportunities, the meeting will highlight cutting-edge science, clinical innovation, ethics, equity, and emerging therapies. Particular emphasis will be placed on cross-border collaboration, shared learning across healthcare systems, and improving access and outcomes for children globally.

We recognize that international participation is essential to the strength of IPTA, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and scientifically rich environment that reflects the diversity of our field. Charleston will provide a historic and accessible setting for four days of meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and community.

We warmly invite colleagues from across the globe to join us as we work together to advance excellence in pediatric transplantation and improve the lives of children and families everywhere.
